If your button sticks when you push it, there are two possibilities:

1. Something is interfering with the underside of the button (i.e. a cable or similar). Open up your controller by removing the 4 screws on the underside. Check to ensure nothing is blocking the underside of the button. Test the button while the controller is open to see if it's still sticking. Note that sometimes the process of closing the controller can cause a cable to get wrapped around the bottom of the button and cause this to happen - once you close the controller - but before you put the screws on - test the button again. If it doesn't stick, put the screws back on.
2. A button that is dirty inside can stick. This usually happens after drinks have been spilled on it, but dust can also cause this. See this video for instructions to clean your button(s):
