If you want to use a different console with your Sente or Neo-Arcade Boards, you may need to run a firmware update on them. See here for the compatibility list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ezi1XSLtFHYFSoaKgKK_QY-neMRdTa38-TuzwtE0DRI/edit?gid=0#gid=0

In order to run the firmware update, follow these steps:

1. Download the new firmware here.
2. Unzip.
3. Double click the "Brook x Polycade firmware update_Offline.exe"
4. Follow the instructions in the firmware update.

Once you have updated your controllers, you'll be able to change the "mode" they are in by using a button combo. Note that setting your controls to the wrong mode for the system you are using will render your controls non-functional until you set them to the correct mode. 

In order to change modes, hold the appropriate button pattern for 5 seconds.

• Start + X: To change to PC mode (X-Input)
• Start + RB: To change to Nintendo Switch mode
• Start + Y: To change to PS3 mode
